Bow Eye Compatability
Designed with a universal fit, the BOATLOADER Catch installs simply over your boat's bow eye, whether it's a U-bolt on fiberglass or a welded eye on aluminum.
Since bow eyes vary in shape and size, the catch includes two bolts and multiple mounting holes to accommodate your specific setup. Please check the reference graphic to determine the best fit for your boat.
Trailer Compatability
The vast majority of boat trailers feature a safety chain and winch mount that lines up directly with your boat's bow eye. Because the Boatloader Catch installs straight over your bow eye, in almost all cases you will be using this existing winch mount.
Typically, the winch mount is a steel beam sitting horizontally to the ground or with a slight upward tilt. The bracket we provide has two mounting holes:
1. Mark and drill two corresponding holes in the top or bottom of the winch mount—whichever gives you the best alignment between the Boatloader and the Boatloader Catch.
2. Secure the bracket in place and you're done.
