Q: What is the difference between the Boatloader™ System and the Easilaunch Boat Catch?

  • A: While both are designed to make solo boating effortless, they serve slightly different parts of your setup:

    • The Boatloader™ System is a ramp-side launch and load guide mechanism that mounts to your trailer’s winch post to guide your bow straight and secure it securely without getting your feet wet.

    • The Easilaunch Boat Catch is a premium 316L stainless steel trailer latch engineered for hands-free catch-and-release launching and retrieving directly from your winch post.

Q: Will these products fit my boat?

  • A: Yes! Both the Boatloader™ system and Easilaunch catch are designed to be universally compatible with the vast majority of aluminium and fibreglass boats (up to 8m for the Boatloader™). They attach to standard bow eyes and winch posts. (If you run a specialty hull like a Webster Cat, please reach out to us first for a custom mount recommendation).

Q: Do I need to modify or drill into my boat?

  • A: No drilling is required for the Easilaunch catch, making installation straightforward. The Boatloader™ system utilizes your existing winch mount and bow eye setup, usually requiring only basic hand tools and minor adjustments (such as trimming a standard Teflon insert to fit)—meaning zero structural changes to your hull.

Installation & Setup

Q: How hard is it to install the units myself?

  • A: Very easy. Most customers have their system fully installed in 30 to 60 minutes using basic household tools. Each unit comes with standard high-grade stainless steel hardware and straightforward instructions.

Q: What tools will I need for installation?

  • A: Standard spanners, sockets, and occasionally an angle grinder or junior hacksaw if you need to trim standard plastic/Teflon components to fit your specific winch post layout.

  • A: Absolutely. Both lines are proudly 100% Australian-made (crafted down in Gippsland, Victoria) and engineered specifically to handle harsh Aussie marine environments, saltwater, and rugged coastal ramps.

Q: What materials are used?

  • A: We use rugged, marine-grade 316 and 316L stainless steel alongside high-density impact-resistant components to ensure zero rust and maximum longevity against salt corrosion.
